If you are unable to find an existing song stored on your device, you can create your own ringtone with an app called RingDroid. You will need to connect your device to your computer with a USB cable and copy the MP3 file to your phone storage and then set it as your default ringtone.

For iPhones, you can also use the Contacts app to select a ringtone or text tone for a specific contact. Just tap the person's name in the top right corner, then tap Edit | Ringtone or your text to choose a new ringtone for this contact.
