minhasokz2 15 Posted July 5, 2021 Following the launch of MIUI 12 last April, Xiaomi published the list of updating eligible devices. However, in December last year, the firm withdrew four devices because of compatibility and performance problems off the list. The Redmi Y3, Redmi 7, Redmi 6, and Redmi 6A were among those. The link users were deceptive as Redmi 6 and 6A were upgraded to only one Android, while the Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 were unable to acquire one. While Xiaomi had indicated that the aforementioned four smartphones will not be given MIUI 12, the stable construction for Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A has already been published. In a recent post on the MIUI Updates Tracker Telegram channel, the firm revealed details about the MIUI 12. The stable MIUI 12 version is ready for download according to this post. However, the firm recommends that because of performance concerns, the build be not installed on certain devices. Notes from the post: The post further highlights that the MIUI 12 stable release for the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A won’t offer smooth performance and users might experience “stalls and slow application startup.” If you still wish to give it a shot, you can download the builds from the links below. "The MIUI 12 stable Redmi6 and Redmi6A versions will be ready to be upgraded after a year of adjustment. However, the stable MIUI12 version cannot comply with the complete OTA-release Redmi6/6A quality criteria after testing by the R&D mobile telephone software department. Only fastboot packs are provided for those who wish to attempt utilising manual flashing by both models, after careful evaluation.
