How to Change CSC Code in any Samsung Device

Recommended Posts

The CSC Code in the Samsung devices is modified using two distinct techniques. The first technique is quite straightforward and you just have to input a single code on the dial pad. Users have noted that this approach does not work for some of them following the Android 11 upgrade. You should also test the second technique if this is the case with you.

This approach can certainly work out, however an unlocked bootloader and an unlocked carriers network will be required for the procedure. It is thus advised that you go for the first and only choose the second approach if it doesn't work out. Having said that, I would strongly suggest you take all the data on your device backup.

Method 1: Change Samsung CSC Code using Dialer

  • Take your device's dial-pad.
  • *#06* type. Type. The IMEI number should be included. Copy it. Please copy it.
  • Now enter *#272*IMEI# to substitute IMEI.
  • The Preconfig page should be listed where the list of all the CSC codes accessible will be found.
  • There might be 70+ CSC choices to select from if you are using an OXM Multi-CSC firmware.
  • Select the one from the list you want and press Install.
  • Once installed, the newly installed CSC will restart your device as an active one.

However, if you can't update your Samsung device's CSC code using Android 11, go to the following approach.

Method 2: Change Samsung CSC Code via Odin Tool

However, if you can't update your Samsung device's CSC code using Android 11, go to the following approach.

As already indicated, it needs an unlocked bootloader to wipe away all your device data and null and void their warranty and use the Knox Counter. If it's good, go to our tutorial on how to unlock the bootloader from any Samsung Device. Continue with the next steps once done.

  • To start with, get your Samsung hardware Multi-CSC (OXM) from Frija.
  • Then extract the contents from your PC to any suitable place
  • Download Odin to your PC and instal it.
  • Boot the Download Mode on your device and connect it to your PC via USB connection.
  • Open Odin, and load the tool with the corresponding parts of BL, AP, CP, and CSC (the standard ones, not the House CSC) files.
  • Then go to Odin Options and make sure you activate Auto-Reboot or F. Reset Time (if not automatically).
  • Then press the Start button and wait till the procedure ends. You'll get a message from Pass after you've done it.
  • That’s it. You may now disconnect your device from the PC and close the tool as well.
